HomeAid, Ameriquest and Local New Orleans Volunteers Help Rebuild The New Orleans Rescue Mission

On Thanksgiving Day, HomeAid, the country's leading non profit developer of transitional housing, in partnership with their Gulf Coast Rebuilding Fund donors Ameriquest Mortgage Company and a nationwide network of leading home building industry companies, will work with local New Orleans volunteers to serve Thanksgiving meals to Hurricane Katrina victims living in the immediate area. The Thanksgiving meal preparation site will be the New Orleans Rescue Mission, one of HomeAid's new rebuilding sites that is part of the Gulf Coast Rebuilding project, located one quarter mile southeast of the Superdome at 1130 Oretha Castle Haley Blvd.

"Housing is one of the most basic human needs and HomeAid has the resources and infrastructure ready to meet this immediate need," said Roland Arnall, founder of Ameriquest Capital Corporation. "The partnership between the building industry and HomeAid will result in sustainable, long-term assets for the people of New Orleans."
